Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Medical Psychologist Baraka Perez, but you can call me Dr. B! My mission is to help you reach your full potential, but let's just focus on getting through today!


How are you, sis? Have you eaten? Have you been drinking water? Have you talked (not texted) with a friend in the last 72 hours? Have you even been breathing? I know, right? Already starting to feel overwhelmed and underachieved and it's not even noon? You are not alone. I feel you. Big time. Sounds like we need to take a little break to catch our breath. Whew, chile!


Be Well with Dr. B is all about making yourself THE FOCAL POINT. If you don't, who will? I'll wait... We do such a great job of taking care of others. I'll bet you've done at least ten things today for other people but zilch for yourself. Yep. That's not how it's supposed to go. Taking care of yourself is absolutely necessary.
