Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is designed to help you address your concerns, come to a greater understanding of yourself, and improve effective personal and interpersonal coping strategies. Therapy often leads to a significant reduction in feelings of distress, increased satisfaction in interpersonal relationships, greater personal awareness and insight, increased skills for managing stress and resolutions to specific problems.  Therapy is also pursued by those who want to sustain their success with consistent check-ins.

Parents often appreciate guidance in navigating behavioral challenges at home or school.  Teens value having a supportive, nonjudgmental space to share their thoughts and strengthen their problem‑solving skills.  Adults benefit from discussing their emotions openly and gaining insight without fear of criticism.
